I was the typical person running to the threading parlor every few weeks, but not anymore! Since the beginning of this year, I have been going to Sunny at Laserworks for laser hair removal, and am thrilled with the results! First, it doesn't hurt AT ALL! That was my primary concern going in, and the cold air from the laser pretty much numbs the area completely so you might feel a momentary twinge, but it goes away in a sec. The laser they use is A-grade, and I have never felt any side effects. Second, Sunny is a star - she is super meticulous, and will spend extra time on the area - which is great news if you want to get your money's worth, and make sure every last hair goes away! Also, I haven't done a lot of shopping around for prices since I was more concerned about quality (I do have just one face!), but I haven't felt like it was overly expensive. It isn't a spa - more like a clinical office - but Sunny's enthusiasm, genuine concern for customers, and attention to detail, plus all your new hair-free areas (!) - leave you too happy to notice! I leave with a smile every time! Finally, I can't talk to the permanence of the results since I only started about 6 months ago, but I do notice a pretty significant decrease in hair growth between sessions. The only reason I haven't given this 5 stars is that I didn't want Yelp to to put it in the questionable reviews bucket - otherwise, it's 5 stars all the way!
