Today I completed my 3rd session. I bought a package through Relish to try out the laser just for my chin. For the past 8+ years, on and off, I have been getting my lip and chin "lasered", but I did not know the difference between an actual laser and an IPL. I always ended up getting enough regrowth that I would need to eventually spend money on waxing also. I'm extremely happy with the results of a real laser. I bought the groupon the last time and have been there for all 3 sessions and all i have to say is --- THIS REALLY WORKS... I have been to quite a few other laser spas and they look fancy, but at the end of the day after spending loads of money the hair is still there.

This has to be the best laser hair removal place in Manhattan! I feel so lucky Sunny and Laserworks came into my life through Bloomspot. I can't imagine spending another dollar on crazy spas and other places that I've tried in the past and just don't work.

After starting a few sessions I see major improvement and it's truly amazing how confident I feel. I can't wait to have no hair on my face and I know I can trust this place for results. The cool air technology is totally painless, I hardly know what's going on until I smell burned hair (gross but true!)

Don't waste your time or money anywhere else. I've tried other places in the area and I just think their machines are old and use the pulsing light technology that just doesn't seem to be as effective as the laser they use here. I can't rave enough!

Super convenient location in midtown and the laser is pain-free. Quick painless treatments with cold laser, I purchased initially through groupon and then bought package to continue treatment and also for another area since I was happy with results. Never tried laser treatment before but was glad I chose this place since Sonny, who performs the procedure is very down to earth and helpful, prompt, and gets you in and out in no time to get back to work etc. I also appreiciate that the office is not a fancy spa atmosphere but that is fine with me because I come for the treatment I don't need to pay for setting and mood, I just want results! I am almost done with my treatments and it is such a relief to not have to worry about shaving all the time and razor burn! I guess time will tell if I need any touchups but I hope the hair is all gone for good!

“Laserworks is THE place to go if you are serious about getting rid of your hair. The technician, Sunny, is amazing and put me immediately at ease. I originally came because I purchased a coupon on Bloomspot, but after seeing the amazing results, I bought additional packages. Sunny uses a top of the line laser that is safe for darker skin, like mine. In the past, I’d been conned by spas offering “laser hair removal,” who really used an IPL which is not an actual laser. I have brown skin and the IPL left what looked like cigarette burns on my skin. Laser hair removal requires repeat visits and you want to go to someone you feel comfortable with. Sunny makes me actually look forward to hair removal sessions, because she is so warm and friendly. Obviously, laser hair removal is an investment, so do your research in advance to make sure you are getting what you want. If a pretentious spa environment is really important to you, then Laserworks is not going to be the place to go, since it is solely a laser hair removal center. However, if you really want to get rid of your hair, look no further. Sunny knows her service is effective and doesn’t need to attract clients with fluffy robes and free coffee. I wish I had known that IPLs were not real lasers before I bought a package at a spa and endured several painful, ineffective sessions. Sunny’s treatments are safer, less painful, and MUCH more effective. At the end of the day, I’m a lot happier knowing that I’m actually getting rid of my hair. Having been to one other location for laser hair removal I had a certain idea of what to expect when I came to Sunny. I was prepared for a quick pass with the technician and the treatment to be uncomfortable and sit around for an hour while my skin returned to a normal shade (my skin is hypersenstive and would be horrifically red for about an hour after treatment).
What I found when I arrived was a very knowledeable technician who sat down and talked with me about the procedure, the type of laser she was doing, how permanent hair removal works and why you need more than a couple of sessions (even if after the first one it seems like it had already done the job). Yes, she was very clear on her cancellation policy and what the fee would be and how it affects her job when people cancel late or just don't show up. And I totally understood and agreed and appreciated her honesty and forthrightness on her feelings about this. Then she got down to work. I was braced for the bit of pain...and was flat out shocked at how painless the procedure was. It was a breeze (literally and figuratively) and although my skin was red after treatment, it was evened out after about 30 min. Huge improvement. The second time I came back, took only 10 min.
I highly recommend Laserworks and Sunni personally. Who cares about getting a "spa" experience, spend the $ on the best laser you can buy and zap those suckers to oblivion 😀 Her prices are more reasonable than what I have seen elsewhere, her laser machine is top of the line and she is a gem of a gal. I have just started my treatments but I am sure to use her for any further hair removal I will need in the future. Thanks Sunni!

I originally bought a package through Groupon which introduced me to Sunny's services. I have been so happy with the results, that I am now going on for treatment in another area.
Sunny is very pleasant to deal with and her personality shines on through. Yes, there is a cancellation policy and she reminds you of it, BUT it seems fair to me (48 hour notice) and it has yet to come up as an issue as I have kept ALL of my appointments so far.
The treatments themselves are pain free, quick and pretty easy on the patent end of things. There is not much we need to do other than be clean, stay out of the sun and no plucking!
Now when I visit, I'm in and out of the office so quick, it takes me longer to get there and back than actually to get stuff taken care of.
I have never had to wait to be seen for my appointments, my initial appointment was made for the day after I called to inquire about her services (so no long waiting periods to get things started!) and she is able to schedule follow ups with GREAT flexibility. Start enjoying the new, less hairy version of yourself!

I finally found a place with a laser that works! Sunny, the owner, is great and makes the experience very pleasant. I have tried other laser places through groupon and they were extremely painful and made you put on a sloppy gel.
Laserworks uses an extremely high tech laser with cold air coming out which makes it so painless. Other places used a laser that was extremely uncomfortable and I would have to take painkillers before but with Laserworks this is not necessary.
I bought a package with Sunny for laser hair removal on full legs. After the first session I saw amazing results - permanent hair removal.
I have been recommending this place to all my friends and coworkers. Sunny is always ready at the time of the appointment and never cancels which I experienced at other salons.
If you want results go here! The prices are very reasonable (I compared to other salons in the area). Great location and will definitely continue going to this salon to laser other areas!

I've bought some Groupons laser hair removal at different locations over the last year, and Laserworks is the best that I've experienced. Sunni is great- she's straight forward and professional. And she's very sweet too.

I saw immediate results from her laser. I've been to other places and it's taken a few procedures in order to see any improvement. But at Laserworks, my hair stopped growing after the first treatment. I had bought a Groupon for 3 treatments of a small area, and I plan on continuing my treatments for the total of 6 needed for the area to be free of hair permanently.

A friend recommended me to go to Laserworks and I am extremely satisfied and happy to have listened to my friend's advise! I bought two packages, one for underarms and one for bikini. I was a bit scared & nervous the first time i went there but Sunny is very friendly and professional on the same time. She explained in detail about the laser treatments and was available to respond to all my questions. She put me at ease, I felt very comfortable with her since the first beginning. The laser machine is a great one, it's a cold air laser so it's less painful than others.
